Mold Damage – Coon Rapids Apartment

Mold damage occurred at this Coon Rapids apartment when the water supply hose to the washing machine sprung a huge leak. The resulting water damage affected several rooms. The residents were away on a long weekend trip, so the water was allowed to stand for several days allowing mold growth to take hold in several spots on the wall and carpeting. We extracted the water from the carpeting, but our sophisticated instruments indicated that the subflooring was also saturated, so we were forced to tear up the carpeting to effectively dry the subflooring. We used commercial air movers and dehumidifiers to dry the affected areas and then treated them with an antimicrobial substance.
