Fire damage to your home can be a devastating event to deal with, even after you know that everyone is safe and sound. 

While most people are rightfully initially concerned about their home, once the fire department leaves, attention soon turns to all of the contents and possessions still inside.

Content management can be a big part of a fire loss.  At SERVPRO of Coon Rapids and Central Anoka County, anytime we take contents out of a customer’s home, we use a bar coded inventory tracking software program.  A picture is taken of each item and then a description is put into the program.  Lastly, the item is matched with a box that is then bar coded.  This helps ensure that everything is accounted for and, if the homeowners ever want to find something, we can simply do a search for that item on the software and instantly know which box the item is in.
